In December 2015, China Mobile Microphone Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly China Mobile Mobile Video Base) officially selected Dekscom to provide SQM video service quality assurance system and related services for its OTT Internet TV set-top box (ie Magic Box). According to the OTV business development plan of Mi Wei Video, it is estimated that by the end of 2016, the scale of 3 million Internet TV users will be realized and cover most provinces in the country. Dekscom will deploy EVQA set-top box QoS soft probes in all Magic 100 boxes with the increase of users of Internet video TVs. The EVQA soft probe can be used to capture packets through the network box of the set-top box and calculate users in real time. Experience (QoE) and Quality of Service (QoS) indicators are regularly reported to the EVQM central management platform for summary statistics and correlation analysis to achieve quality-free management, optimization, and troubleshooting of OTV services.

Based on EVQM video quality monitoring system from Dekos, Miwei Video will build an end-to-end refined operation management capability platform, extending service quality awareness and management and control capabilities from the terminal to the content source to complete the current business. Monitoring, positioning and analysis of the problem, and ultimately improving the quality of service based on the analysis results, ensuring that the OTT service with high quality of service is provided to the user.
