In July 2014, after a systematic and comprehensive technical evaluation and testing, Blockbuster Technologies Center finally selected the Texas EVA video analyzer as a test tool for troubleshooting difficult OTT video quality problems. Blockbuster is a leading domestic OTT video content provider and operator, providing OTT video source, CDN service and OTT set-top box (Little Red Box) to telecom operators such as China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. When telecom operators encounter users’complaints about OTT video quality problems (such as mosaic, Carton), they often can not accurately determine whether the problem is due to the IP bearer network, or the program content provided by Blockbuster, CDN source servers or small red boxes. To this end, Blockbuster Technology Center needs to help telecom operators troubleshoot and locate fault liability through professional OTT video quality testing tools. After a series of evaluations and tests, the unique technical advantages of EVA video analyzer in OTT field were finally recognized by experts of Blockbuster Technology Center, which mainly includes the following features:

（1） Accurate HLS video Catton and buffer wait detection and alarm prompts.

（2） Expert system function is provided to locate the fault location of OTT video (including CDN server, IP bearer network, OTT set-top box, etc.) through association analysis of QoS/QoE indexes in multi-protocol layers (such as HLS video layer, HTTP layer, TCP/IP layer).
