In September 2016, China Telecom Qinghai Branch selected Dekscom EyeNet Video Quality Monitoring System (EVQM) to achieve its end-to-end after undergoing comprehensive and rigorous evaluation and testing of IPTV monitoring systems of multiple manufacturers, IPTV video service quality assurance program. In this project, the Dekscom IPTV monitoring system deployed by Qinghai Telecom mainly includes the following components:

（1）    Deploy EVQA soft probes in 400,000 Linux and Android IPTV set-top boxes in the province to achieve comprehensive monitoring of video quality of experience (QoE) and quality of service (QoS) for end users, enabling customer service personnel to achieve fast IPTV through “one-click diagnosis” fault responsibility demarcation (distinguish between IPTV platform, IP bearer network and set-top box terminals).

（2）    EVA 10 Gigabit hard probes are deployed in the broadcast source of the radio and television program, the CDN platform export of the provincial center, the core router of the IP metropolitan area network, and the six CDN edge nodes. The IPTV live broadcast stream can be monitored 24×7 for the CDN platform. The availability of the VoD service is performed by the RTSP protocol emulation test, and the offline quality scan detection is performed on the video files in the CDN server.

（3）    The EVQM central management system software is deployed on the provincial central cloud platform to realize the unified data acquisition, alarm and configuration management of all EVQA STB soft probes and EVA hard probes. The QoS/QoE indicators of different monitoring points collected by each probe can be analyzed by end-to-end Association analysis, so as to quickly locate the IPTV video quality problems. Location of specific network nodes, such as Caton, mosaic, Huaping and black screen.
